Introduction to Creation with TouchDesigner
TouchDesigner is a powerful tool for real-time visual creation, widely used in fields such as digital art, audiovisual performances, and interactive installations. This software enables the seamless and intuitive design of generative artworks by combining video, sound, and external data.
This course will allow you to explore the vast possibilities of TouchDesigner. You will first learn the structure of a TouchDesigner network and the logic of procedural creation, before diving into creating retro visual effects (VHS) and 3D modeling. We will then cover the integration of external data from devices like a mouse, camera, microphone, or Kinect to design interactive works that react to movement or sound.
By the end of the course, you will have the technical foundation to create captivating generative artworks and harness the potential of TouchDesigner for innovative and interdisciplinary artistic projects.
